Jesus and Satan were always arguing about who was better on the computer.They had been going at it for eons, and, frankly, God, even with hisinfinite patience, was just a little bit tired of hearing all thebickering.
Finally fed up, God said, "THAT'S IT! I have had enough! I am going to setup a test that will run for two hours, and from those results, I willjudge -- for once, and for all! -- who is better on the computer."
The very next day, the Ultimate Computer Match-Up began: Satan and Jesussat down at their respective keyboards, and on the command, "GO!", startedto compute.
They typed.
They moused.
They formatted.
They did fancy fonts.
They copied.
They cut-and-pasted.
They touched-up photos.
They faxed.They emailed.
They emailed with inserts, and backgrounds.
They emailed with attachments.
They downloaded.
They did spreadsheets and databases.
They did sound.
They filtered music.
They made play lists.
They edited video, with three-track sound.
They wrote reports.
They created labels and cards.
They created charts and graphs.
They did some genealogy reports.
They did every job known to man and woman.
Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency, and Satan was faster than hell.
Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning suddenly flashed across the sky, thunder rolled, rain poured, and, of course, the powerwent off. Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse wordknown in the underworld.
Jesus just sighed.
The power came back on, and each of them restarted their computers.
Satan started searching frantically, screaming,
"It's gone! It's all GONE!I've lost everything! Arrrgh!!"
Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all his files from the past two hours of work.
Satan observed this, and became highly irate.
"Wait!" he screamed. "That's not fair! He cheated! How come he has all hiswork and I don't have any?"
God just shrugged and said, "Jesus saves."

Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America . Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to.. This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:
First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known. Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.
Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ' 60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.
We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude???
Barack talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let him go to Altoona ? And Johnstown , and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for 'deserving' white kids.? Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America ? Is it really white America 's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?
Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?
As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?
Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?
We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena . And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.
Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago.
We are a Christian Nation even if Mr. Obama says we are not.
This needs to be passed around because, this is a message everyone needs to hear!!!

President Obama told the American people in his weekend address he wanted to "start dispelling the outlandish rumors" about the Democrats' risky health care experiment.I couldn't agree more with the President.There is no place for outlandish rumor or outrageous rhetoric in the debate for the affordable and accessible health care reform we all want.Below are some facts that will help you counter the dishonest rhetoric Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and liberal special interest groups are disseminating in their attempt to silence dissent:
Rhetoric: President Obama Promises Americans Can Keep Their Current Health Care Coverage. "You know, the interesting thing is we've actually been very clear on what we want. The Republicans want an honest and open debate about how to reform health care, but it is the Democrats who do not want to have a legitimate discussion on the issues. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and their liberal special interest cronies are resorting to calling concerned citizens who have questions about their health care schemes "astroturf," "un-American," and even "political terrorists."
One White House aide went so far to say "if you get hit, we will punch backtwice as hard" when coaching Senate Democrats on the ways of "Chicago land politics."
It's time for the President to practice what he preached on the campaign trail and respect all voices in the health care debate.

Young people are not thinking they will reach 59 and over -- then what? In England anyone over 59 cannot receive heart repairs or stents or bypassbecause it is not covered, being too expensive and not needed.Obama wants to have a healthcare system just like Canada 's and England 's.

If Obama's plans in other areas don't scare you, this should. Please donot let Obama sign senior death warrants. Everybody that is on thismailing list is either a senior citizen, is getting close or knowssomebody that is.
Most of you know by now that the Senate version (at least) of the"stimulus" Bill includes provisions for extensive rationing of health carefor senior citizens. The author of this part of the bill, former senatorand tax evader, Tom Daschle was credited today by Bloomberg with thefollowing statement:
Bloomberg: Daschle says "health-care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come withage instead of treating them."
If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that ouresteemed Senators and Congressmen have their own healthcare plan that isfirst dollar or very low co-pay which they are guaranteed the remainder oftheir lives and are not subject to this new law if it passes.
Please use the power of the Internet to get this message out. Talk it upat the grassroots level. We have an election coming up in one year andnine months.
