What a difference a year makes!
From New Jersey to Virginia and beyond, voters made it clear that they will not sit back and allow national Democrats to ram their liberal agenda through Congress unchecked. These were states that Barack Obama won handily in 2008, but on Tuesday, the voters rejected his job-killing policies.
Republicans in these states ran as conservative problem-solvers, while the Democrats embraced big-government policies such as a failed stimulus package, a trillion dollar government-run health care experiment, and a punitive national energy tax.
