It really is unreal how quickly your life can change. How one incident during one evening can alter the entire course of your life...
Both for the better or for the worst.
I like to think that concealed carry is all about making sure that the "worse" side of that equation doesn't happen.
Sadly, for a lot of people, it does happen. There are so many people in this country, that it happens a lot. Daily... hourly.
Somewhere right now, somebody's life is being turned upside down. It's a scary thought.
Now listen... I've got a heart-pounding article for you, straight from the USCCA website. It's about one man's experience where he was brutally attacked... it's where he learned the hard way how important carrying a concealed weapon AND being alert and aware of your surroundings are. Thank God he lived to tell about it.
So here you are, my friend... proceed with caution.

Also- I just got this in an email from a new USCCA member- I love it!
"I have overcome the "fear", by becoming a member, thanks. My fear was that I had already gotten the membership fee's worth out of your emails before becoming a member."
The "fear" was that I was beginning to take advantage of a good thing. As an old ex-airborne troop and strong in my faith as an evangelist, that's about the extent of the fear."
What a great email... thanks!
All the best,
